حصلت د. الخرافي على شهادتها في طب الأسنان (بكالوريوس طب الأسنان) من كلية طب الأسنان بجامعة الكويت في عام ٢٠٠٩ . بعد إتمامها لعامٍ كاملٍ من البحث في علوم الوراثة للوجه والفكين والخلايا الجذعية في عام ٢٠١٢ حصلت د. الخرافي على ماجستير العلوم في طب الأسنان وشهادة في الدراسات العليا المتقدمة في تقويم الأسنان من جامعة باسيفيك المتواجدة في سان فرانسيسكو بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في عام ٢٠١٥ . كما حازت على ”جائزة التميّز“ البحثي على مستوى جامعة باسيفيك، وأصبحت حاملة للبورد الأمريكي لتقويم الأسنان في عام ٢٠١٦.
هذا وحصّلت على الزمالة في تقويم الأسنان والوجه والفكين وذوي العناية الخاصة من جامعة كاليفورنيا بسان فرانسيسكو في عام ٢٠٢١
